Biography

Thomas joined PHH Solicitors in 2007, following completion of his Law Degree at UCLAN in Preston. Thomas qualified in August 2010 having completed his Legal Practice Course and Training Contract and was offered the position of Assistant Solicitor. Thomas was made a Senior Family Solicitor in 2015 and most recently was appointed as a Director in October 2019. Thomas works together with Martin Shipway in the Family Department

Thomas practices primarily in divorce and separation work that includes financial settlements, child arrangements orders and family disputes. Thomas also represents parents in Care Proceedings and social services involvement with families.

Thomas is a member of the SRA/Law Society panel for Children. The Children Law Accreditation Scheme covers all types of children law work. Thomas has shown, to the satisfaction of the Law Society, that he has and will maintain a high level of knowledge, skills, experience and practice in the area of children law, be that in private practice or working for a local authority.

Thomas is a fan of sports and plays golf. Thomas is a committee member of the Blackpool and Fylde Law Society and runs the Blackpool & Fylde Law Society Golf Club.
