Due to on-going growth within the company, an exciting opportunity to join the team as a
Medical Negligence and Personal Injury Solicitor has now become available.
The successful candidate will be an experienced and dedicated solicitor with experience in medical negligence and also ideally personal injury.
The candidate will predominantly be working in medical negligence, ideally with experience in portal and multi-track personal injury cases, from inception to conclusion from a claimant background. They will be able to work independently with their own caseload, and as also part of team when handling more complex and high-valued cases.

Hours of Work: Full-time.
The practice runs a free legal clinic on Tuesdays and Saturdays (3 hours), on a rota system, and therefore, occasional Saturday hours may be required.
Location: On-site. Fleetwood and Cleveleys, Lancashire. Ability to relocate or commute is required.
Job Purpose: This is an exciting development opportunity to join a busy and growing team and department, to expand your legal knowledge by running a varied and complex caseload, representing Claimant’s across a variety of clinical negligence and personal injury cases.
You will be running your own caseload, with experienced colleagues to guide and assist on more complex and high valued matters. You will run cases from inception to finalisation to clients that may have suffered serious and life-changing injuries.
Key Responsibilities:
This role will require candidates to have:
- A thorough understanding of medical negligence law and claims progression at all stages;
- Strong organisational and time-management skills;
- An ability to manage a varied caseload in an efficient, client-sensitive, pro-active and commercial manner;
- An ability to work well with minimal supervision when required;
- A thorough and working knowledge of the code of conduct, compliance, and accounting issues;
- An empathetic and understanding nature to support clients in distressed circumstances and guide them through often complex legal concepts, to show empathy and compassion whilst providing excellent client care;
- An understanding of case management systems and IT literacy.
Experience & Knowledge; A minimum of 4 years PQE running medical negligence cases, ideally with personal injury experience of the same length of time.
Salary: Competitive, commensurate with experience. Competitive bonus structure based upon performance.
